My “Theory of Computation” Lecturer in College, once corrected my exam paper and told me that I had a flair for writing stories. I guess I was too dumb to understand that he was being sarcastic.

One fine Saturday morning, with the missus away at work, with nothing worthwhile on the tube, and being too lazy to do something productive, a sudden realization drew on to Yours Truly*, that his blogging life was seriously under threat. My corporate blog was alright, but my frequency of posting something, was as rare as Maniratnam movies. (Noth that I compare myself to Maniratnam, but you get the picture, don’t you. :P) My external blog was as good as being non-existent, with a few posts on it being reproduced from whatever I had written for my corporate blog. I was feeling ashamed of myself.

So I jumped on to my Laptop. Tweeted my plan of starting a new blog. Thought of a crazy name. Jumped on to WordPress. Signed up. Created a header. And thus…

Idli Vada Sambar was born… 😉

And that’s the story folks. The space filler, for the ‘About’ Page. (No wonder I aced my Madras University theory papers)
